At the 2022 Screen Music Awards, Caitlin received the awards for 'Best Television Theme' and 'Best Music for a Miniseries or Telemovie' for NEW GOLD MOUNTAIN, a groundbreaking series set in the gold fields of Ballarat in 1857. These accolades add to her award for 'Best Original Score in TV' that was conferred at the 2021 AACTA Awards. Her imaginative score blends strings, traditional Chinese instruments and percussion to reflect the perspective and experiences of the Chinese gold miners
