Jesse Younan was a singer-songwriter who released a mere three albums before he died from cancer in July 2008. TAKE SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL: THE SONGS OF JESSE YOUNAN was released posthumously as a tribute to his extraordinary songwriting legacy. His songs are shaded with melancholy and a yearning intensity. The selection of works on the album are performed by Jen Cloher, Abbe May, Emily Lubitz, Jordie Lane, Lucie Thorne, Greg J Walker, Jai Pyne, M Jack Bee and Gaby Huber + Cameron Potts. Also included is Jesse's original version of 'My Addiction'
